If someone takes off their hat in the third paragraph, I’ll make sure that they were wearing a hat in the first one. I’ll fix noun-verb agreement problems and pesky apostrophes. If there is a better word to express your idea, I’ll suggest it.

PROOFREADING

Before you invest in book design, make sure the text document you provide to your publisher is letter perfect. Proofreading ensures that all corrections were made and did not introduce any new mistakes. I’ll catch spelling errors, extra paragraph returns, and other typos and format problems.
